Lune is a personal finance management app which helps you reach your saving goals. With Lune, you can track your spending and create budgets with clear, dynamic and visual representation in the form of reports and charts. Lune automatically categorizes your spending to give you insights on your transactions. Lune is created by Lune Technologies Ltd. a Fintech company based in Dubai International Financial Centre in the UAE.

“Lune Technologies Ltd.” is a licensed software technology company and is registered in the Dubai International Financial Center under license no. CL3849, and its address is Unit 208, 209 l Level 1 – Gate Avenue, South Zone, Dubai International Financial Centre, PO Box 507211, United Arab Emirates.

Lune is currently only available in the UAE but we are working on expanding operations so stay tuned!

Linking your bank account to Lune is needed so that Lune can help you manage your money better with transaction analytics and categorisation, we only gain read-only access and do not store or (have access) to your login details. Your security is our priority and you have complete control over your account and can de-link at any time. We also use bank-grade TLS 1.2 technology to keep your data secure and our servers run on Amazon’s cloud which is one of the most trusted cloud providers in the world.

Lune allows you to link as many accounts as you want.

You can de-link your bank account easily by going to the ‘Accounts’ section within the app and clicking on the delete account button.

No, your privacy is our priority and Lune will never sell your data to anyone.

Yes, you can manually add cash transactions within the application.

When you link your bank account, Lune it gains read only access to your bank account which is why you may get a notification from your bank or may be asked for an OTP or Secure Key Code. Lune cannot make any changes to your bank account and only has permission to analyze your transactions.

At this stage, Lune supports some Credit Cards. Here are the banks whose credit cards are currently supported: ADCB, ENBD, FAB, Mashreq, DIB, Mashreq Islamic, Citi, and RAK.

You can de-link your account from the ‘Accounts’ page on the app.

You may change your information on the ‘Accounts’ section within the app under the ‘Profile’ section.

You may add more accounts by going to the ‘Accounts’ page and linking your new account.

Lune is currently free and is available on both iOS and Android.

Lune uses industry standards to encrypt and safeguard your information. We use bank-grade TLS 1.2 technology to secure your data. Our servers run on Amazon’s cloud which is one of the most trusted cloud providers in the world.

Lune's third-party online payment processor is Lean Technologies. Lean Technologies is a company incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in the United Arab Emirates and is authorized and regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to develop financial services within its Regulatory Laboratory. Please send us a message with a description of the error and your bank name through the ‘Contact Us’ section of the “Help & Support” page in the Settings tab . You may also contact us on support@lune.ae Our Support team will promptly respond and attempt to resolve any issue.

When you delete your account on Lune you disconnect from your bank account and stop fetching new transaction data from your bank account. We retain your email address but once you delete your account your budgets are erased forever, so if you download Lune again, you will have to set it all up once again.
